Butler County Siding, Windows & Exterior Services

Trusted exterior contractor for Cranberry, Mars, and all of Butler County.

Butler County's fast-growing communities like Cranberry Township and Mars have some of the busiest new-construction and re-roofing demand in the region. Ireland Contracting serves the entire county with roofing, siding, windows, and storm-damage repair.

The newest housing in the region, and the oldest boroughs

Butler County is the one county we serve that is still growing, and its housing shows it. The median Butler County home was built in 1980 and a quarter of the county's houses have gone up since 2000, both by far the newest figures in our service area. That growth is concentrated in the south, along Interstate 79 and Route 228 through Cranberry Township, Adams Township, Mars, and Seven Fields.

North and east of that corridor the picture reverses. The city of Butler and boroughs like Zelienople, Harmony, and Evans City hold much older housing, and the townships beyond them are genuinely rural, with farmhouses and outbuildings rather than subdivisions. We work both. A newer plan home usually needs a straightforward replacement done to an approved color and profile list, while an older borough home needs someone who will look hard at the flashing, the fascia, and the decking before quoting anything.

Wind exposure on open ground

Much of the county's newer development went up on former farmland, so those homes have little of the tree shelter that older Pittsburgh neighborhoods enjoy. Open exposure puts the load on ridges, hips, and rake edges, and it is why we treat starter course and ridge cap details as part of the system rather than an afterthought.

The wooded lots to the north and east have the opposite problem. Heavy leaf and needle load fills gutters twice a season and keeps shaded north-facing slopes damp enough to grow moss and algae.
