Everlast Featured Our Gibsonia Siding Project
Everlast published a case study of an Ireland Contracting siding job in Treesdale, Gibsonia. Cedar came off, 7-inch lap in Chestnut went on, and the manufacturer wrote it up.
Everlast published a case study of a siding job we finished in Gibsonia last fall. The house is in Treesdale. The old cedar was tired, and the homeowner already knew our work from earlier roofing and electrical jobs.
We are an Everlast Preferred Siding Installer. This is the first time the manufacturer has written up one of our projects. The write-up is theirs. What follows is ours.
What we installed
The existing cedar needed constant paint and had taken insect damage. The homeowner did not want fiber cement. They wanted something that looked like wood and did not need scraping or recaulking.
We installed Everlast 7” lap siding in Chestnut, plus new soffit and fascia. The siding portion took about five days.
Chestnut reads as a traditional wood tone, which matters in an HOA neighborhood where the new exterior has to sit next to older homes without looking like a different street.
Why Tom recommended it
Tom Dunne, our sales manager, told Everlast the product “fit into the neighborhood very well” because the community is HOA-governed and “everything has to be seamless and flowing.”
That is the real constraint on a Treesdale job. The material has to look finished on day one and still look like the block in ten years.
We used to hang a lot of fiber cement. Crews still will when it is the right call. Everlast has become the product we reach for when a homeowner wants the wood look without silica dust, face nails, or touch-up paint. Tom’s line to Everlast was that it is “a cleaner installation process for our crews and a longer-lasting, more durable siding system for homeowners.”
